只需粘贴在板件或梁体的一侧，即可对弯曲应变和拉伸应变进行分离测量。其工作原理是当被测物受到拉伸应力和弯曲应力时，被测物截面的应变，沿截面的高度呈线性分布。可有效地用于测量桥梁或压力容器等箱体结构，而又无法在被测物体的背面粘贴应变片。
